.. has anyone else considered starting a petition to get vacman selected as a replacement MD of FGW (First Great Western)?  I'm always impressed with vacman's posts - there's more practical sense in any of those than the bland platitudes we get from FGW management!

(By the way, vacman, sorry if I've dropped you in it!)  Tongue

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

Probably best to modify that post slightly to andrew.haines(at)firstgroup.com or he'll get spammed into oblivion and not take any notice! but yes, I would guess you've got it right though!

Vacman you say you don't think you'd want the Job, that could mean you are the FGW MD.
Or it could be you are up to your neck in it, thinking on that, Say you are the MD.

Say VACMAN are you a SUPERHERO, flying and zooming about with a Dyson on your back, cleaning up all the C**p that FGW (First Great Western) produce?

Hell, what a Picture that produces.

Could it be the next  Block-buster,

VACMAN the MOVIE?

A Suggestion, Vacman stand for the Race to be Next President of the USA, you'd get my vote.

There's logic here, Britain's Government does more to keep the Americans HAPPY, than the British public.

PS That will teach you to question if it was past my Bedtime.

Erm, people ... I started this thread lightheartedly, as a way of thanking vacman for his input to this site.  Please, can we cool it slightly?  Thanks!   Embarrassed

I'm sure Vacman is a nice enough guy, it was only pay back time for Vacman suggesting it was past my bed time.
