From their
website. In 2013, the Ffestiniog Railway put the world^s oldest surviving narrow gauge steam locomotive, Princess, on show at London^s Paddington Station to mark its 150th birthday.
This year, we are celebrating 150 years of passenger services. To mark the occasion, brand new Pullman observation carriage 150 will be on display on platform 8/9 at London Paddington from the 8th-27th June inclusive.
You are cordially invited to inspect this new ^250,000 luxury carriage, built by craftsmen at our own workshops in North Wales, to see just how the passenger experience has improved in the last century and a half. We think you will be pleasantly surprised.
If you would like to examine one of the finest carriages running on any railway in the world at first hand, our staff and volunteers will be at Paddington throughout the visit to answer your questions about the carriage and the 40 miles of railway on which it operates through some of the finest scenery in Europe.
We look forward to seeing you at Paddington.
I came across the display as I passed through on Monday night and was able to have a very quick look. It does seem impressive.
