20:06 Westbury to Swindon due 20:50
20:06 Westbury to Swindon due 20:50 will be cancelled.
This is due to a shortage of train crew.

Thanks - the trains that normally run too / from the Kemble line, again!  GWR (Great Western Railway) have been overoptimistic in their scheduling and would have done far better not to even pretend they could run these services until the final few hours!

I'm out on the train this evening (appointment in B-o-A) - at least the late train is running.

"Services may be disrupted due to a fault with the signalling system between Exeter Central and Paignton" I get that, but why does it mean cancelling ALL of the remaining services today between Westbury and Swindon FFS (for goodness' sake (a more polite definition))?

Stranded again.

At Trowbridge playing "spot the difference"

18:18 via B-o-A cancelled; next train 18:47
18:43 via Melksham cancelled; next train 21:24

The effect of a cancellation on passengers using thin services

Astonishing.  The 21:16 from Westbury to Swindon DID» (Didcot Parkway - next trains) run - I was on it, along with just 7 or 8 other passengers, 4 off at Melksham.   Low loading really not a surprise - nothing else at all ran after the 17:36 from Swindon.

No passenger trains at all today thanks to the industrial relations issues that have been ongoing for far too long to the detriment of all partings.

There have been at least 5 trains passing through Melksham already this morning
01:29 towards Merehead
02:42 towards Westbury
03:01 towards Whatley
03:43 towards Theale
04:49 towards Appleford
