http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/Documents/Custom/1503%20Wales%20v%20France%20amended%20TT.pdf

is quite interesting. 4 loco-hauled sets out tomorrow, with up to 10 coaches. There's a curious comment at the bottom of p6 regarding more coaches might be made available. Don't understand that. Also, does anyone know what the colours signify? Personally, I prefer the red trains!

Red would signify service to avoid i guess due to heavy loadings.

Not entirely convinced by that as a lot of services arriving into Cardiff in the couple of hours before 1700 are shown as green. But I can't think of any other explanation.

Any train through Trowbridge on a normal Bath home game will be red, International in Cardiff I would just go down to count how many were left behind. FGW (First Great Western) from previous experience believe that people won^t be lying in the luggage racks so will be yellow, anything green you can breathe in.

John, what time would you set out for probably the biggest party of the year, and arrive having missed half of it?

Unfortunately the party had to be at my house, as I didn't have a ticket for this one. But you're right to assume that I would have left home in plenty of time (though coming from Nailsea there are through trains to Cardiff, so you can get on before it gets busy.) Still seeing 2 out of 3 home matches in a Grand Slam season isn't bad.
