Discounts for multiple journeys?

In May and June, I'll be needing for make at least 10 (possibly 12) journeys between Cosham and Clifton Down or Temple Meads.

With a railcard, the journeys are ^25.10 return off-peak (buying from Havant). I won't be returning the same day in most cases. I'm not sure of the exact dates yet, but I would expect some weeks may need 2 or 3 return journeys.

Advance fares won't be any good for the return direction as I can't guarantee what time I'll finish in Bristol.

Do FGW^▸ offer any type of carnet ticket? Can anyone suggest anything that might be cheaper?

I was wondering the same but in terms of one way season tickets!

Can get really cheap advance fares to get home - but FC^‡ advances don't seem to exist of a morning anymore

Oddly, if travelling from Bristol Temple Meads, it is cheaper to buy a ticket to/from Yatton/Nailsea.

Yatton - Cosham SVR ^23.75
Bristol - Cosham SVR ^26.40

I've just received the first few dates when I'll need to travel. Two in one week so looks like I'll be using a Freedom of Severn & Solent 3 in 7.

Strangely:
Cosham to Clifton Down SVR ^26.40
Freedom of Severn & Solent 3 in 7 ^26.40

Only difference is the rover is valid after 0900 weekdays whereas the SVR is valid out of Cosham at 0830.

I wonder how many people travel more than once in a week and are actually aware of this oddity?
