Oops! An honest mistake... I allowed myself to be confused by the time format; the leading zero switches my tiny squirrel brain into 24-hr clock mode, and no amount of trailing 'AM' or 'PM' is able to dislodge the idea. I promise to be more careful in future.

Thanks for putting up the quiz; I really enjoyed it and I hope my transgression didn't deprive anyone of their go. Embarrassed

Hmm. Thanks for your suggestion, trout, but I think not. We on the admin team here are all volunteers, offering our free time to compile such things, so there is a danger that we'd set an expectation of something definitely happening by a particular date, if it were to have a diary entry - but personal circumstances might unfortunately delay its publication on this forum. Tongue

However, I'm sure we'll all look out for bignosemac's next challenging quiz, in due course! Grin

I had to look up 'deliquescent'. Turns out it's nothing to do with shops that sell cured meats. Tongue

As a lover of the English language (I taught it for 27 years to those who were less so), I'd like to thank stuving (oh the pain of writing proper nouns without a capital Undecided

) for introducing me to a new word which will now be brought out for Scrabble). The educational value of this forum never ceases to impress. Cheesy
