Members may recall IsamBird Kingdom BrunOwl who we fostered at around this time last year, and has come with me to several event this year including Community Rail in the City.

The cousins of the Bath Owls - the Lions of Windsor - will be looking for homes on 28th November, with adoption fees going to charity - and those upstarts South Western Railway have sponsored one of them - lot 33 - see https://lionsofwindsor.org .

WINDSROAR

Artist: James Dawe

WindsRoar is an eye-catching lion featuring abstract elements of railway trains, with hidden objects and images of Windsor to find, including Windsor Castle, a crown and corgis!

James is a Commercial Artist and Visualiser with a postmodern and eclectic approach grounded in contemporary collage and digital manipulation. His work includes commissions for Nike, customising a bust and pillar for Chelsea Football's new club store, a live mural for Reebok Classic X Kendrick Lamar Event in Granada Studios in Manchester, a mural and solo exhibition at The Book Club and a live collage portrait for The Metro newspaper.

Pictures - IsamBird top and Windsroar below.   Both travellers by train!

Whilst I like the idea and look of Windsroar, I've had a chat with Isambird and come to the conclusion that it would be rather dangerous (to the owl) to keep a lion in the same place, and of course my loyalty must lie with the one I have already fostered. So bringing this to people's attention here - please do let me know if any of you is likely to bid though.
