From Route One

Quote
Stephen Joseph resigns as CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of CBT(resolve)

Campaign for Better Transport Chief Executive Officer Stephen Joseph has resigned from his post, and will leave the organisation at the end of the autumn.

He was appointed Executive Director of what was then Transport 2000 in 1988. He was awarded an OBE for services to transport and the environment in 1996. Transport 2000 changed its name to Campaign for Better Transport in 2007.

As a result, the CBT has opened applications for a new CEO.

During his 30 year with the campaigning charity, Mr Joseph has seen 18 different Transport Secretaries and seven Governments.

Goodness ... CBT has *been* Stephen Joseph.  And he has done so much positive work, much of it behind the scenes - that said from personal experience (Thank you, Stephen, if you read this).   30 years is, though, a long time with an organisation and I note that it'll be some time before he actually departs, suggesting far more of a planned succession than a breakup of any relationship.
