The FGW (First Great Western) website has the latest issue of Customer Matters - April 08? Can we assume that customers don't matter any more?

I think the feeling was that it was crap, so there maybe something better coming out, not 100%. I will ask a colleague in the comms team tomorrow.

For those of us who take an interest in all things rail, Customer Matters was a good informative piece about whats happening on FGW (First Great Western). For most passengers travelling by FGW it would probably have been seen as a load of un-interesting rubbish as all most people care about is whether their train is running on time, clean and how much the cost of their ticket was.

I don't have much time for the FGW magazine Go to... because it has very little rail related stuff in it unlike it's predecessor Reach, but would imagine most customers actually like it.

Its a shame that FGW don't use their website anymore to provide latest news and the sort of information that appeared in Customer Matters so those who are interested in that sort of thing can access it. SWT (South West Trains) trains news page is regularly updated with rail news so it can be done.

Sure was. I can only think that the contract with the company that produced Reach ended and was replaced by another company that provides a cheaper magazine that is available today.
