Thanks, Graham. I'm currently in Chocolate and Cream. How about a 'dynamic lines' version for Btline...?  Wink

Chocolate and cream for me. Luvverly Grin

Sorry, Graham - I've switched back to the old! I don't like the new one at all.

Hey ... I'm perfectly happy for everyone to choose what they prefer - that's one of the reasons I've added a choice  Wink

I expect far more long-established members than newcomers to switch to the original - an "old coat" they don't want to throw away - but we've also got this season's new look (help - I have to do a Xmas theme!) for new arrivals.   Best of all worlds - see http://www.wellho.net/mouth/2526_A-reluctance-to-move-from-old-shoes-to-new.html for the techie stuff (it gave me my morning's blog!)

I'm still fine-tuning, but I have added a couple of options.

Once you've selected an option, it will stay with you until you change it again, or for a year if you don't change it.  I may add other combinations later.

Hmm. I can't help thinking that this overly complicates things - after all, the theme will revert back when the cookie expires, and I would have to reset it whenever I log on at a different computer.

SMF (Simple Machines Forum - The software we use on this site) has a built in themes feature; why not just use that?

You and I should meet up for a pint sometime and go through the techie stuff.  In this case, we would have an interesting discussion concerning your use of the word 'just' as an implicit comparator.  And, yes, I would like to encourage everyone to have a look at the current latest and greatest styles we're using from time to time ... such as once a year  Grin

I have added a "Site Style" link onto the top banner to allow users to switch preferences when they move on to new computers without having to trawl back to this topic.

Was the last green 57 in need of refurb so I'd guess "powecar blue"

Looking forward to seeing that - the '60' that was painted up in GWR (Great Western Railway) livery for the 2000 Old Oak open day looked superb, even if it did explode shortly afterwards. The 57s are handsome locos so I reckon that'll look even better.

Any plans to outshop a rake of sleeper stock in chocolate and cream to match? Wink
