We've been told that SDRs on the Barnstaple line will be reduced (no, that's not a typo!) in January, so that a Barnstaple-Exeter SDR goes down from ^13.20 to ^9.50.

This only really affects the 07:xx from Barnstaple weekdays, as CDRs (Off Peak Day Return [ticket type] (formerly 'Cheap Day')) are valid on all other Barnstaple line trains anyway. Still, no complaints Cheesy

Might be a sop to reduce the backlash from having to use the 142's on the line or could be a renaming the ticket type to Crapheap Day Return
