Due to amber warning of heavy rain.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-67035351I suspect that we are seeing the consequences of the fatal accident at Stonehaven. There was considerable criticism of the railway after that, and a criminal conviction.
A reasonably foreseeable consequence is a much more cautious approach in future, with services suspended when bad weather is forecast.
I wonder if as a result, "The railway" will become OVER cautious and adopt a policy of "if in doubt close down" I have previously remarked that we have a fair weather only railway, and this seems to be worsening.
Most roads and most airlines will probably operate as normal.
