It seems next week has been designated "Catch the Bus week"

This from the Reading Buses website.

Quote
Catch the Bus Week comes to Reading

Catch the Bus Week starts on Monday 29 June and we have a lot of activities going on throughout the week!

Free tickets

Look out for people in our bright bus costumes handing out free tickets and giving helpful bus information on Broad Street on Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July.
On the same days, as well as Thursday 2 July, the team will be outside the Reading railway station giving away free tickets and information between 4 - 6 pm.

Reading is regularly the top selling UK (United Kingdom) destination for PlusBus tickets and we want more people to know about how they can save money with us with PlusBus.

Win!

^Word of the day competition^

Keep an eye out for our ^word of the day^ competition, displayed on the screens inside our buses, between Monday 29 June until Friday 3 July.
All you need to do is tweet us with the ^word of the day^ to be in with chance in a daily draw for a 7 day pass or easysaver10 smartcard.

^#busbecause^ competition

Also another fantastic competition running during Catch the Bus Week on Twitter. Using the hashtag #busbecause we want to hear your reasons why you use our buses. The best reason will win a 30 day pass!

Interesting to note that Reading claims to be among the top selling destination for PlusBus tickets.

In the First Bristol, Bath and the West area, during 'Catch The Bus Week', you will be able to purchase a First West of England Group Day Ticket, valid for up to five people, for ^10. That would normally be a total of ^35 for five adults.

First West of England Day tickets allow travel on First Bus services across Bristol, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, Mendip, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.
