Hi

I'm going from Salisbury to Paignton this Saturday, so has there been any changes in announcements, departure screens and Help Points since my last visit for the Dawlish air show 2010. So whats changed at the following stations?

EXETER
Central,
St Davids.

Dawlish,
Teignmouth,
Newton,
Torquay,
Paignton.

Thanks,
Jim.

P.S Can I use my FOSS (Freedom of Severn & Solent Rover) rover from Salisbury to Honiton and then buy a return from Honiton to Paignton from the guard? And have extra the 150/1s arrived at FGW (First Great Western) yet and whats going on the the 142s?

The guard would only be obliged to sell full Anytime fares with no discounts if you had an opportunity to buy your ticket(s) before departure. So, I'd suggest you buy your Honiton to Paignton return from Salisbury before travel.

You'll find some of the answers to your questions with a look around the forum, for example here regarding the 150s and perhaps here for information systems.

The system at exeter central, dawlish, teignmouth and torquay has had numbers of announcements cut down to 1 announcement per a train and the help point at dawlish Warren has been replaced with a new screen help point. The systems at paignton,  Exeter St davids and newton abbot has remained the same.
