A bit of late news.  The 1857 Paddington to Plymouth hit a large tree at Hemerdon, new years eve 31/12/2017.  Extensive damage to cab which disabled the train and it had to be rescued by the Laria depot shunter.  Driver injured but treated on site and OK https://mobile.twitter.com/XandF/status/947848399197556738
