There are a significant number of short-formed trains reported today, mainly on the Falmouth, Severn Beach and St Ives lines.

On a Saturday at this time of year, will the use of a 1 coach train on Bristol to Avonmouth / Severn Beach, Truro to Falmouth, or St Erth to St Ives cause overcrowding?   Will the use of a carriage with door at the end only cause significantly extended station stops to the detriment of timekeeping?

Has some rolling stock been redeployed to the Newquay line, to cater for the autumn surfing championship? (link below.)

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
