Do you mean BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) South Today? Points West doesn’t cover the region where Southern operate.

Southern? Being reported on by Points West?

Also, the local bulletins during BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) Breakfast are not available to watch again on BBC iPlayer.

I apologise infoman, you were correct.

Just watched the Points West lunchtime news and whilst interesting to most of us on this forum, will not apply to any trains operating in the Points West region.

I have a feeling it won’t air this evening if the editorial team find out Paul Clifton’s report really applies to the BBC South Today region.

Maybe I am lucky living in the Bristol area as it central to where most of the BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) points west local News comes from.

Although if lived on any the fringe areas, something happening in Tewkesbury has got(IMO (in my opinion)) very little relevance  to those who may live in the Salisbury area.

I 'll keep on posting anything from the west of England and south west of England(spotlight)channel 962 using my Sky satellite box.

Hoping it may interest some,if not all, of the members on the forum.

It is infoman. I wouldn’t normally watch the lunchtime edition of Points West so would have missed this report as it wasn’t shown in the main evening program.

Paul Clifton and his cameraman were just as surprised as we were that BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) Bristol decided to show his report about electric trains being refurbished in Sussex.

I think it depends on what can be called regional or local,
One report back in 2012 Clinton Rogers covered three seperate LIVE reports on the Olympic winner from Dorset.

BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) had their moneys worth.

Clinton Rogers did seperate LIVE reports for points west, spotlight and BBC south all in the space of 25 minutes.
