It's often verry easy to take the Mic out of the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency)
However A

small amount of praise won't go amiss every once in a while
At the end of last month they wrote to me to remind me that my driving licence was due for change of picture after the ten year period was up
So I filled out the form and then turned the entire house upside down in the vain hope of finding both parts neither of which came to light (to my shame) as I had my drivers No.in a safe place I used that and rang the DVLA and got through in less than a couple of mins ! The most helpfull chap on the phone who's English was perfect said that it was not going to be a problem and that I should go to the Post Office and let them take my mug shot and that would probably be Ok  so on Thursday afternoon I did just that and on the following Tuesday upon my return from work there in the post was my new licence along with a paper counterpart  even though they were stoping issuing them in a matter of days
So for once I'm Most Impressed with the DVLA. Shocked

Might be well worth checking  When Does Your Driving Licence Need To Be Changed Huh
 Yours WP.

Yet again it would seem that the actions of one sad person have caused major havoc to thousands of people who at the end of the working week now face hours on the journey time before they can start the weekend my thoughts go out to all that are caught up in this mess and especially the BTP (British Transport Police) and the other services who have the task of clearing it up hope the driver will be ok.     WP.

I see the newly re-elected erstwhile (probably still) transport portfolio holder and local to us MP (Member of Parliament) Claire Perry has already managed to get herself into trouble:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/womens-life/11591752/General-Election-2015-Ukip-slur-Shame-on-Tory-MP-sexist-tweet.html

Quote
"Hallelujah. Mark Reckless out. Don't let the door hit your fat arse as you leave."
These are the words of Claire Perry, Tory MP for Devizes, upon learning of the defeat of the man who left the Conservatives for the grateful embrace of Ukip.

I don't often find myself agreeing with columnists in the Telegraph, but I have to say I agree here that if a male candidate had tweeted about a female candidate^s ^fat arse^ it probably would've resulted in considerably more brown stuff hitting the fan...

Good for you Claire I say  Cheesy
