1  All across the Great Western territory / Fare's Fair / Delay / Repay - discussion on cancellations on: July 28, 2023, 21:55:47
Are you expecting a BACS transfer in your favour for a train you didn't take and there is no record of you trying to take it?  If that works out for you, let me me know, as there are plenty of places I've never been that have have frequent travel delays.  Christ, if that delivers I could get a salary and not leave my front door.

Anyway, back to work.
2  Journey by Journey / Thames Valley Branches / Re: Henley Regatta Service - 2022 on: June 30, 2022, 15:12:51
The timings are no different from normal - every 30 minutes, service pattern obviously skips Shiplake in one direction.  I can see they might need to build in a couple more minutes dwell time (hence the skip) and I wonder if this circular route is so they can say every service still stops at all stations?
3  Journey by Journey / Thames Valley Branches / Re: Contactless on Thames Valley Branches on: March 09, 2022, 08:36:06
Three machines now installed at Henley station.  They are on although say "Closed" so not in use just yet.  Any thoughts on a go live date?
4  Journey by Journey / Thames Valley Branches / Parlimentary train to West Ruislip on: January 20, 2018, 21:31:24
Obviously this is not really a Thames Valley branch, but no where else obvious for this question.  Since the changes at the beginning of the year, has this once per day shuttle from Ruislip been removed?

It previously travelled from South Ruislip to Paddington (almost certainly empty) around 10.30 and returned to West Ruislip about an hour later (again, almost certainly empty).

No one uses it, but in a way, a shame if it has gone.
