The latest London fashions may be obtained in the larger stores.
But possibly not for much longer?

Population estimates are often rounded to the nearest 100. At this distance from the last census nearest 1000 might be more appropriate.

I didn't realise you could get that stick-on brickwork paper the modellers use in a full-scale version.

Cladding, hopefully not flammable.

For info - I have just incorporated the latest 2019-20 data into my clickable map of trends in railway station usage:

Thanks. Out of area - Highlights the increase at Longcross as the large new housing development proceeds. Not sure how many more houses are to be built (plus) and how decrease in commuting to London (minus) will affect future figures.

The PM said the "ambitious" target would see the UK (United Kingdom) cutting emissions faster than any major economy so far.

And he urged other world leaders to follow his lead at a virtual climate summit on 12 December.

No Imber bus in 2020, but a coffee table book to make up?

https://www.dewilewis.com/products/the-plain

Photographs are excellent. Only one actually in Imber, but others you might remember if you did the various bus routes. Covers West, Central and East parts of the Training Area. Apart from the cover, virtually all are sunshine or clear skies, none of that all to common Salisbury Plain rain. Life has obviously advanced since I was in; Portaloos! we just irrigated the undergrowth.

Waterstone's in Salisbury has copies in stock.

No, I guessed very few of the pictures on the web site.

Just done a circuit by Reading Green Park. Have got to the stage where they have something looking like platforms, the Basingstoke end. Generous clearance when a container train went through. How do they compare in width with passenger stock? To chilly to wait for a passenger train.

Be interesting to see them undo the destruction of the Euston Arch. I believe some bits of it were found, some years ago, in one of London's lesser rivers.

The distance between a person?s home and their nearest mass transport hub is often around five miles in rural areas.

There must be some bright ideas from those of us who don't live in large urban areas!
