Journey by Journey / Portsmouth to Cardiff / Diagram 21 20 Southampton to Westbury

I am curious to know what the Unit off this service dors neat. I believe it is a 153 but unable to find anything from Westbury the next morning even. I did consider forming or attaching to 22 32 Westbury but they seem to use different platforms ruling this out. Any help would be appreciated. Without trying to be cheeky I was wondering what the Diagrams (SX) were for the 2 Car 158s (soon to be 3 Cars I understand). I have seen this question asked on more than one Forum already but without a definite answer, just vague replies they wotk to here and there but without anything definite. Thank you to a good Samaritan in anticipation.

Valley 4 Cars are pairs of Pacers. 150s work Ebbw Vale (not Cardiff Valley route), Fishguard, Wrexham/Bidston, Blaenau Ffestiniog and share some Maesteg/Cheltenhams with 158s Heart of Wales usually only if deputising for 153 but some workings on Sundays. Pembroke Docks are 153s except at Weekends when Pacers, 150s, 175s and 158s can be seen.

All across the Great Western territory / Across the West / Re: New Customer Information Systems

If this has been mentioned previously, please excuse me, but unfortunately it would mean having to go through some 36 pages as I have not been folllowing the topic thoroughly.. I wonder if anybody has any info on Bristol Temple Meads as the screens on the platforms are unsatisfactory. The line up screens (Not the ones listing trains at each platforms) are difficult to read, especially in sunlight My main bone of contention is that there is only limited space and this, due to the frequency of services, does cause problems. The example of this is that when a passenger (I prefer the dictionary term of somebody being conveyed rather than the word customer which in many circumstances can sound odd) requires to change trains they require to know from which platform their train departs and they find the screen has not yet scrolled to their service even though only a comparatively short time ahead, even as low as 20 minutes at peak time frequency. Definitely a case for new CISs▸ here. I did E-Mail FGW▸ some months ago to enquire and eventually received a not too convincing affirmative reply.

Although not Class 150s it is understood that FGW▸ have started reforming 2 Coach 158s into 3 Car Sets but this is all part of the big picture. I have heard that 158960 and 158961 have been formed. However, yesterday on the 16 42 Gloucester to Weymouth I saw a Hybrid numbered 2 Coach 158. 1 Coach of 745 and 1 of 762 but unfortunately did note whether 52 or 57 coaces. The Set number on 745 was 952 but because the other was coupled to a 153 (LM▸ hire one !!) I was the wrong side to see the Set number.

I am surprised that no mention is made on the FGW▸ Home Page of their Website of the TAKE THAT Concerts in Cardiff on the nights of Tuesday and Wednesday this week with approx 60,000 expected to be present each night. Wondering if they have any plans for strengthening the late trains back to Bristol.

7 updates on an alternative feed, but First Great Western are reporting "no service updates" on their front page. There isn't a note there to tell us that it's not being updated / provided at present, but (as I write) giving a misleading impression that everything is running, nothing is shortened, nor are there catering problems.
I have added a not across the map on our site to indicate that we have a feed issue. That's a temporary measure only - but for the moment I'm not sure how temporary / how, if and when we'll be able to bring a feed back through this site.
