I'd sadly doubt such statistics are available, accurately anyway.

a) How many are made accompanied by a dog do dogs get charged for? of not they travel unrecorded
b) How many are made by an adult in a wheelchair unless pre booked for wheelchair assistance again no statistics will be available
c) How many are made accompanied by a cycle probably partially available, on reservation compulsary journeys
d) How many are made by a baby / toddler in a buggie / pram / pushchair again travel free unticketed so probably no stats available
e) How many are made with significant luggage (of the type / quantity you would need to check in if flying) again travel free unticketed so probably no stats available
f) How many are accompanied with other things I may have forgotten in my list! again travel free unticketed so probably no stats available

Pretty much each of your list is unticketed, so few stats will exist, unless someone has stood at a train boarding, with a clip board

Yes SWTs (South West Trains) ticket machine was at fault in this instance. Poor research by the bbc.
2763  All across the Great Western territory / Fare's Fair / Re: Penryn Truro Season Ticket on: October 23, 2011, 00:53:36
Thanks, it just seemed to good to be true saving pretty much 50% by buying for the 1 month and 2 days, and thought I may have gone wrong somewhere. ^45.10 vs ^90 bought daily for the required period.
In fact that season works out considerably cheaper than petrol alone for driving. Shame there are no trains late enough for my work commute, or I'd seriously consider cutting me and my wife to one car and use the train, but i work 1600-0100 5 days a week.
2764  All across the Great Western territory / Fare's Fair / Penryn Truro Season Ticket on: October 22, 2011, 23:46:14
A friend has asked me for advice for a Penryn Truro season ticket.
Travelling every weekday between 31st Oct and 2nd December
Does this price include return travel or just one way:

Quote
STANDARD PERIOD
Penryn Cornwall-
Truro  This ticket allows travel on any permitted route. view ^45.10

My friend needs to arrive in Truro before 0730am and leave after 1630, which would require a anytime return at ^3.60  a day, so the above season price is pretty much half the ^3.60 a day for the 25 days of return tickets he requires (^90 if bought daily)

The large saving is why i am unsure if this includes both directions of travel, If anyone can recommend a better way of doing this even better!

It was Design Technology (Food) when I was at school, and in fact my GCSE certificate refers to it as Design Technology (Food). I'm 23 to work out where that falls in the timeline of its various aliases.

Mine auto capitalises the first letter of eash sentence, and even knows the words in the middle that need capital letters.
A problem I've noticed is if you write the word ill it changes it to I'll. Hell becomes he'll or vice versa. The auto correct bloody annoys me, some of the sms messages I've sent have been down right ridiculous when I haven't paid attention to the autocorrect does!

I've heard a 142 went to swindon this morning in place of the 0510 HST (High Speed Train) ex Plymouth, 142 ran Exeter to Swindon, can anyone confirm or deny this?
2768  All across the Great Western territory / Across the West / Re: Stock cascade of class 150s on: October 19, 2011, 01:18:32
What^s the capacity like comparing to a two car 165? The rush hour services on this route are rammed as it is. Be interesting to see what happens, are they planning on strengthening other TV services then? As for being on a 150 all the way from Reading to Gatwick...... no comment!

reading to gatwick is less time than penzance to plymouth....let alone Penzance to Bristol services we the 150s on!
2769  All across the Great Western territory / Fare's Fair / Re: Free tickets offer from First Capital Connect on: October 19, 2011, 01:08:37
simple sign up, and then divert all their emails to junk once they start arriving inevitably daily!
2770  Journey by Journey / Plymouth and Cornwall / Re: What does this actually mean? on: October 16, 2011, 00:00:11
surely they'd need to cancel the same timings in the opposite direction, other wise both units will of been in the same end of the branch!
2771  All across the Great Western territory / Across the West / Re: Pendennis Castle on: October 15, 2011, 09:33:47
Oh dear, Marsden never seems to get it quite right, the drivers were learning class 57/6 locomotives not learning the road. Part of this involves running 'light locomotive' as the braking technique is different running minus trailing load.

A hell of a lot quicker stopping i'd imagine!

A303 - doesn't go down to Exeter?

A303 doesn't make it to exeter. Becomes, the a30 at some point. It is also an awful single carriageway at the west end. From exeter best route to the 303 is m5 to taunting j25or 26, forgotten which at the moment, and across to the 303 from there. This cuts out most of the single carriageway winding bits as well

I would love to be fgw Twitter person.
There's one that says there will be trouble if fgw make him late for an interview. My response would be get an earlier train and arrive in plenty of time.

Another moans that fgw always arranges engineering for her weekends off when she wants to travel. Seriously how dim are some of them?
