Any reasons for the ridiculously large increases on the St Ives line?

Ticketing changes?

"Switch to point-to-points from St Ives Bay Line Ranger"

As mentioned in the associated report from the ORR» (Office of Rail and Road formerly Office of Rail Regulation - about) that attempts to explain the reasons for major changes.

almost 100000 increase combined for all the Falmouth branch stations excluding Truro. The loop at Penryn is definitely showing it was money well spent.

On the St Ives branch I think all tickets used to be sold as rangers so intermediate stations were not counted.

but St ives has increased by 100000 and st erth 50000 as well so that suggests the terminal stations were not counted neither!

That's what I said earlier - it was a cut and paste from ORR» (Office of Rail and Road formerly Office of Rail Regulation - about)'s report, so I've clarified the post...

I don't suppose you happen to have a copy of those already as a CSV/DSV/TSV that I could have please Graham? (I think you may know roughly where I'm going with this)

where is Sampford Courtenay?

Last stop before Okehampton. Amazing anyone has booked there, though, having said that, most of the small number of Coombe Jn bookings were from far away - prankster rail enthusiasts (never!).  Selby and Birmingham New St, as I remember.

Let's see:
figures from 2004 to 2011 at http://www.wellho.net/resources/ex.php4?item=h309/railstats.txt
same data with tabs rather than expanded spaces (i.e. a tsv file) at http://www.wellho.net/data/railstats.xyz

There's all sorts of other data in the ORR» (Office of Rail and Road formerly Office of Rail Regulation - about) figures too

I've also emailed you the above (actually all UK (United Kingdom) stations) tab delimited which is easier to work with than the multispace stuff above in this threas.

Superb thanks! I thought the figures were hiding on your website somewhere, but couldn't find them. Smiley

Farnborough North seems down a lot. However the figures there are inaccurate- most tickets are sold as "Farnborough Stations" so would be lumped in with SWT (South West Trains)'s Farnborough Main.
