Destination Bristol has partnered with First Great Western to offer a new rail scheme for conference delegates, which it hopes will boost business travel to Bristol.
The deal offers reduced rail rates for conference delegates travelling at any time to the West Country capital from all main First Great Western stations, as well as many of the connecting routs to First Great Western from the Home Counties.
Standard return travel between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington has been set at a reduced rate of ^44 while First Class return travel between the two destinations is ^89.
"Value for money, location and ease of access are the key influencing factors for event organisers, as are an interesting and diverse range of venues, quality accommodation, teambuilding and entertainment for delegates," says Commercial Services Manager at Destination Bristol, Kathryn Davis. "Bristol presents organisers with a destination that can achieve all of these key objectives, and an offer that is further strengthened with the new reduced rail rates now in place."
