Really the subject says it all. It is unusual for me to see this 2 days running - I normally only see it go through reading west every 4 or 5 months. Is something happening that requires the Banana train to travel the same route 2 days running? Just curious!

Looks like it was just running as booked. It was on its way 'recording' to Plymouth this morning, yesterday it would of been working to/from Old Oak, ready to form what it worked this morning.

Many thanks Louis94 - I would love to get a picture of it coming through to show my son (he loves trains and has seen this in the hornby catalogue) but think using a camera with a flash on isnt fair on the driver!

... but think using a camera with a flash on isnt fair on the driver ...

You're correct not to take a flash photo.  Not only is it unfair, it's considered to be dangerous as it might distract the driver within his safety role and taking flash photos on an operational railway is a huge "No! No!" ... I'm following up with that for other readers of the thread who may not be familiar with the "flash on railways" issues - it's not something newcomers would necessarily even think of!
