From the British Transport Police press release:

Quote
British Transport Police (BTP (British Transport Police)) is investigating the theft of a motorcycle from Par railway station.

Officers have today issued a photograph of the stolen bike and are appealing for anyone with information about the theft, or the current whereabouts of the motorbike, to come forward.

Investigating officer, PC Wayne Frost, said the theft took place between 3.50pm and 11pm on Wednesday, 7 November 2012.

^The victim secured his motorbike near to the cycle sheds at Par railway station at 3.50pm on Wednesday, 7 November. When he returned around 11pm, he discovered the motorbike, a Suzuki DRZ400 model, had been taken.

^Enquiries are ongoing to establish who took the motorbike. I am appealing for anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously at the station between the above hours on 7 November, to contact BTP.

^Or, if you have been offered a bike similar to the one in this photograph, or have seen someone recently with this bike who did not have it prior to 7 November, I^d ask you to contact police immediately.^

Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. In all calls, please quote incident reference B4/WWA of 23/11/2012.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
