If I set off from No. 1 early on Monday morning, how long will it take me to get to No. 10 if I visit the others in any order in between? (No - I don't know the answer to that)

Not my intended answer ... but there may be several explanations / answers to some of these clues and I'm happy to accept something that makes sense and is a place - note my final question about "how long" ... |
