I expect it's Devonport (Devon) as the next station west is offically Devonport Dockyard.

It's a long walk from Devonport (Devon) to Devonport Dockyard, well 5 minutes,  Grin
The Railway goes through Devonport tunnel, which has a former Railway house above (on Albert Road), and Devonport GW (Great Western) tunnel drains run into the former Southern Railway tunnel that crosses below.

You're 4 months late on this, the differentiation is almost certainly to do with Davenport...

The former railway house was demolished last year, and the site now a used car lot. The Devonport Dockyard site is so large that it is served by no less than three railway stations: Devonport (Albert Road), Devonport Dockyard, and Keyham.

But I understand very few services call at these stations?

Public transport to Devonport (NZ) (ferries from Auckland) are run by Connex. Did they ever run buses in Devon?

Roughly a dozen a day, more for Devonport.  All the Gunnislake branch trains stop, plus some peak hour Cornwall stoppers.    Dockyard is a request stop for all trains.

But Devonport gets one HST (High Speed Train) every weekday!
