First operate EXD (Exeter St David's) .... so did that mean that some First station staff were on dury yesterday?

There is an absurdity this Boxing day morning listening to talk of rushes to the sales, yet knowing that all that's got to be done by road!

Yes, some drivers and guards work xmas day and boxing day, keeping an eye on the units on the depot, to prevent vandalism. The station is closed until midnight tonight though( i think)

CrossCountry didn't remove their trains from the system - they're all showing as running today but they're not!

Pleeaase! pay more attention to the real time running sections of the FGW (First Great Western) website. I actually worked 10 trains last week and only two arrived at their destination later that it's booked time and only 1 of that 2 later than the 10 minute threshold allowed to avoid it becoming a late running statistic.  Shocked

You see things aint all that bad eh! Undecided

I know what your saying, generally every train I work is on time but it's the cancellations which are the real problem!

Wonder if that's Why NRES (National Rail Enquiry Service) told me there was a Train at 07.30 from Penzance to Newcastle on 25/12.

That simple Error should have a massive knock-on effect on XC (Cross Country Trains (franchise)) train preformance figures.

Wonder if it's Sour Grapes from the Pickle Man?

I question the intelligence of the person at NRES who did not connect 25/12 with er.....Christmas
