Just like to share this with you, one of the most important things for passengers is for their train to run on time.

In the Excellent book "RED FOR DANGER" by the Late L.T.C. Rolt, a thought inspiring book about Railway accidents, Mr Tom Rolt on his investigation of the Accident at Aynho on October 20 1852 quotes
"the 9.27 mixed train for Banbury left Didcot thirteen minutes late. In the two years that it had been running this shocking train had NEVER ONCEbeen known to run to time"

Anyone else know a train to run Late EVERY day for two years.

Smokey.
