Lee : In Excel, change a cell to 'text' and it will let you type '0800' for example, instead of O800 Wink

Thanks Liam, I was wondering about that. My skills regarding that sort of thing probably need bringing up to date.

Which brings me neatly on to the point of this topic.

Hosted by Save The Train, Nicki Pittman and I are about to launch a new website, aimed at bringing rail-related documents, photos etc together in one place (link below.)
http://www.raildocuments.org.uk

If anybody has anything that they would like to see featured, feel free to e-mail it to me at canber@hotmail.co.uk

I have already received some documents, for which I am grateful.

Nice idea, Lee! It'll be good to have a single resource that we can all refer to.

Not particularly helpful, I know, but I can't help saying that what I'd really love to see would be a photo taken in daylight of a passenger train standing at Melksham station  Cheesy

Well, no - I was thinking more like this really. Double track reinstated, a proper little station building, lighting...

Yeah, right, I know - dream on, Ptolly!  Grin

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish.
