Gathering reports from social media of a "small fire" or "smoke" in the driver's cab of the HST (High Speed Train) that formed 1C10 1030 PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains)-WSM. Service was terminated at Southall.

BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) London Travel tweeted "Probs with the alternator caused smoke to billow from the motor carriage"

No one hurt, delays shortening....poss means another HST (High Speed Train) out on Monday though

Update at 11:12: HEX service suspended.

Update at 11:05: 1C10 has come forward to Southall station, fire brigade en route.

I found out earlier that the "Driver of 1C10" was a friend of mine! He told me it was an "electrical fire"  on power car 43063. As said here, all passengers OK but understandably he was a little shocked and was sent back to Bristol.
