As the National Railway Museum in York opens a new ^4m visitor centre, it claims a 14-year-old in 1825 as the world's first trainspotter (link below.)

Well somedays I wish I'd been around in the 19th C, at least in them days Rail was the way forward.

Long before FGW (First Great Western) gave Brunels Billiard Table the "KISS (keep it simple, stupid!) OF DEATH"

And Vacman how much was the First class Ticket you sold to Brunel on the LSWR (London South Western Railway) from Exeter St D to Bideford?
