An update - meeting is in the morning of 30th January, Kennet Room at County Hall, Trowbridge (thank you to Wiltshire Council for hosting.    See next post for my report at Press and Publicity (to be received in item 3) which includes a little bit more as to why it's proposed to place the CRP (Community Rail Partnership) within a CIC (Community Interest Company ) structure.

AGENDA - TWCRP» (TransWilts Community Rail Partnership - about)
1. Welcome and apologies for absence
2. Minutes last meeting and matters arising
3. To receive reports (financial, chair, press and publicity)
4. To discuss and approve the resolution ^To formally dissolve TWCRP and transfer its roles and funds into TransWilts as a Community Interest Company (CIC) upon formal registration^
5. Any Other Business

AGENDA - TransWilts CIC
1. Opening address
2.TransWilts Community Interest Company Objectives :
"The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to encourage and promote increasing usage of public transport for benefit of the communities living and working in Wiltshire and in particular (without limitation) to represent the interests of local public transport users including rail special interest groups in the County of Wiltshire. To promote improved connectivity between local services and the national network, and to represent the views of the existing rail special interest groups and integrating bus services. It collects, collates, manages and disseminates local service information information for the defined geographical area of Wiltshire. The Company will provide a focus and an informed source for operational and strategic discussions with stakeholders such as rail and bus operators, Network Rail, Wiltshire Council, Swindon Borough Council, Local Enterprise Partnerships, visitor organisations and geographically adjacent and interfacing Authorities."

4. To discuss and approve the resolution ^To approve the formation and registration of TW CIC with the structure and objectives as recommended by the principal officers^
