Landslip closes train lines out of Bristol (Bristol Post)

From the Bristol Post

A landslip between Filton Abbey Wood and Bristol Parkway caused extensive delays to train services around north Bristol on Saturday (10th January).

All lines in the area were closed due to the slip thought to have been triggered by the bad weather.

Replacement bus services were operating in the evening and passengers were told their tickets were valid for alternative routes.

First Great Western announced that the landslip was cleared on Sunday morning and apologised for the delays.

Interesting no mention of Network Rail.

I appreciate that people like to blame NR^» for most things, but surely they can't be held responsible for the weather? Wink

Actualy I was thinking more that it implies FGW^▸ cleared it up. Perhaps I should have said no credit for NR^» .
