Is this a move towards having standard liveries that do not need to change when the franchise does - like Scot Rail?
Possibly, if the image of the new livery isn't a photoshop. However, the comments to date are that the new exterior livery (as opposed as the inside of the doors being re-coloured) only applies to the sleeper. The rest of the fleet still seems likely to stay in FirstGroup colours.

Not painted. Just a vinyl wrap to tie in with FGW (First Great Western)/Network Rail's current 'Building a Greater West' advertising campaign.

As far as I can tell from the small picture, that's not GWR green, it's a picture of the sea.

I was imagining middle chrome green with black and orange lining, and perhaps copper exhaust grilles..!

This from the WNXX (Stored Unserviceable, Mainline Locos HQ All Classes) fourm, regarding the photo of the potential new livery mk3 I linked to a while back:
Quote from: Tony Miles
The sleepers will be rebranded and reliveried as they are overhauled, but not in the colous scheme in the photo that was on wnxx a few weeks ago - that was a test which was rejected straight away.
