Well it the Metrovick Co-Bo for me. 'Co-Bo' Class 28 diesel, built by Metropolitan Vickers and also known as 'Metrovicks'. This was the only BR▸ main line diesel built with an asymmetrical wheel arrangement, having six wheels at one end and four at the other. During the sixties they featured in pairs on the Anglo-Scottish 'Condor' overnight express freight service, however they were deemed 'non-standard' during the rationalisation of the fleet and all were withdrawn in the late 1960s.. I was another 08, but a Clayton would have been good because I actually drove one once (under close supervision), in the station goods yard at Alnwick - so must have been in the sixties just before closure.
