Went through par this morning and there was a train dispatcher working today and the same with Camborne this evening  someone there to see the train off. That's a rare sight on a Sunday and this late in the evening! I'm wondering if its connected to the engineering works this weekend or the 48 hour walk out by staff at penzance maybe fgw trying to make best of the situation. Well we did have a bustitute earlier on to falmouth as there was no one to run the train. And also today there were no trains to Newquay.

There were extra staff at most stations in Cornwall to help due to the Penzance Guards strike. I myself worked at Par on Friday last week.

Loads of staff seen at St Ives over the weekend, but I think that was to control the sheer no's of passengers.

A certain idiot here made the error of driving into St Ives on Sunday. Couldn't find a parking space anywhere so gave up and went home and did the garden instead.
