The chairman of the controversial village plan stormed out of the public meeting last night with howls of derision from angry villagers ringing in his ears (link below.)

Since its publication in January large parts of the plan have been widely condemned by villagers, councillors and even Maidenhead
MP▸ Theresa May and an online petition against a by-pass across the Poundfield area of the village has collected nearly 400 signatures.
At the meeting the public voted overwhelmingly in support of rejecting the transport and traffic report, while agreeing on a new timetable for the creation of a new version of the plan.
