It's true.....on the premise that anything is legal unless it's illegal.

No it is not.  Stop reading the Daily Mail.  Sex, Race, Nationality and Age are all protected characteristics under the 2010 Equality Act (Age was added by that act, btw, prior to that it was legal to discriminate on the grounds of age)

.....and by the way I introduced my daughter into railway signal engineering and after 3 years she is begining to make a good job of it (in some cases she even corrects me and thats after 45 years in the industry Roll Eyes Tongue )

An interesting study that stresses the importance of positive role models.  You must have been a good one.

I am keen to see the various reactions of a classroom of 7 to 9 year olds when I talk to them about being a geologist this time next week.
