Can't see it mentioned, and NRE‡ are still showing the old prices....
A friend has alerted me The Devon Day ranger has increased in price today.
£12 Adult | £6 Child (Day Ranger)
£5.10 Adult | £2.55 Child (Evening Ranger)
He found out as he's gone to do the First Sunday okehampton of the year.
It doesn't come as a surprise, as yesterday I needed Plymouth to Axminster, and the day ranger (old prices) was cheaper than a off peak day return!
Rangers and Rovers have risen all across the area (and wider area too?). They are not fares that change in January, and in past years they haven't kept pace with other fare rises - so a significant increase today is no shock.
They do remain good value ... the Freedom of Severn and Solent (
FOSS▸ ) 8 day out of 15 is now £79 - that's still less than 10 pounds a day, less that 7 pounds a day with a railcard.
