Hi,

Often on here people refer to the train by their codes: i.e. 1C01.

I was wondering how people knew what they were, if there is anywhere on t'internet to find them etc.

Cheers,

Adam

The train reporting codes can be found in few 'knowingly' used places. I personally find them through a system called "JourneyPlan" that I use - see www.planajourney.co.uk.

In the mean time if you have any headcode requests post them here and I'm sure one of us can get them for ya. (either that or check TRUST (Train Running System TOPS) you lazy person Tongue)

A railway computer system.

Holds data on train information, pathing, timings, etc.

Sad thing is - I knew the train codes for the four main trains already - I'm NORMALLY on the 1722 Hereford on the way home, the 1822 means I got out of work late - but last nights 2022 meant I was in work VERY Late
