Oddly, while I've never been to Krasoyarsk, I was in Vyazma for a few days once. Or rather being "hospitably accommodated" in the party social club out on the by-pass, the town being quarantined due to a Cholera outbreak starting from Odessa. That was way back 1970, when ... but that really is a long story.

Happy to be corrected  Embarrassed  When you've just spent three days and two nights in a Trans-Siberian 'Standard Class' compartment on the top shelf, places seem to blend together and my notes were not particularly good.
