First Mini Monster is a series of events being held across Britain aimed at getting families or groups of friends together to enjoy a sporting day out and help raise money for Save the Children (link below.)
http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/Content.aspx?id=2245

One such event will be held on The Downs in Bristol on Saturday 14 June 2008.

The event in Bristol starts at 10.00 with the Family and Friends Race which is followed by the Adult Race at 11.30. The ^5 entry fee per person, 25% of which goes to the Save the Children charity, also gets you a T-shirt and medal.

I and a group of colleagues are running in the FirstMonster race in Inverness in memory of a late colleague of ours killed just before Christmas. We are raising money for Devon Air Ambulance - his nominated charity.

If anyone would like to make a donation, let me know and I will forward you a link.

Mods - let me now if this plug is not acceptable and I will gladly remove.
