From the FGW (First Great Western) website :

19:05 Penzance to Exeter St Davids due 22:28

This train will be started from Plymouth. It will no longer call at: Penzance, St Erth, Hayle, Camborne, Redruth, Truro, St Austell, Par, Lostwithiel, Bodmin Parkway, Liskeard, Menheniot, St Germans, Saltash, St Budeaux Ferry Road, Keyham, Dockyard and Devonport. This is due to a member of train crew being unavailable.

That's the last Menheniot train. Is the 2011 Penzance-Plymouth calling there tonight instead?

Thats easy, HST (High Speed Train)'s stop there every day so shouldn't be a problem, but what about anyone who was going on to stations beyond Plymouth? or Plymouth suburban stops.

Shame there is no more detail on tne FGW (First Great Western) website.

The train starts from Plymouth, but onward travel or travel to Plymouth suburban stops from stations further west would indeed be a problem.

Menheniot stood out as the only station (taking the St Budeaux FR/VR issue aside) that didnt have a later train of any description.

Well, we know the 2011 can make extra stops, but does anyone know whether it did?

Could have made a Menheniot stop, it was about 5 mins late at Saltash.

Maybe FGW (First Great Western) shouldn't put that driver on lates!

I agree Vacman, but what happens if FGW (First Great Western) rightly tries to discipline him? Union involvement and next thing we know there's a strike threat hanging over us all.
