I've seen what carbon cleansing does to an engine and in all honesty cannot recommend it,however should anyone wish to improve the performance of their engine and help it to run cleaner, regularly using a proprietary brand of injector cleaner that is added to the fuel tank is cheaper and far more effective.

Well this saves me from reporting it to the mods.

In my view, rightly or wrongly, when a first time poster pulls a trick like that, I gravely doubt whether they intend to add anything constructive to the forum

We pick up the majority of spam registrations before they can ever post ... just the very occasional one gets through. One of the few areas that I'm not going to publish the method details.   And when one *does* get through, we learn from it.

I too would be gobsmacked if there was a genuine contributor behind this post ... I decided to kill the links and leave the remains for once as a flag to let everyone know that (a) we're not immune and (b) we have a safety net if one slips through.

P.S.  We don't seem to have any emissions from our car anyway.

Agreed.  I can think of less than half a dozen which have made it through in my time on the forum.  It’s a constant battle but the reward is it makes it a nice place to be unlike some forums/bulletin boards.

ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS ACCPETED.

The last time my credit card was "accpeted" was when my dog developed arthritis...

Thinking about who might benefit from their services, I wonder do they service Class 37s?

You can add class 50s to that list:
