Cancellations to services between Westbury and Taunton

Due to urgent repairs to the track between Westbury and Taunton all lines are closed.
Train services running through these stations will be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Some stations between Taunton and Pewsey will not be served. Disruption is expected until 18:00 26/06.

Customer Advice

If you are travelling from an unstaffed station, please use the Customer Help Point or contact National Rail Enquiries on 03457 484 950 detailing the total number of passengers in your party and your intended destination. This will enable us to get suitable replacement transport to you as quickly as possible.
Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers between Taunton and Westbury via Castle Cary in both directions until further notice. Replacement road transport is limited.

Thank goodness this is east of Exeter and there is an alternative route even if problems serving intermediate stations and delays to passengers travelling from off the closed section to the east through to off the closed section to the west.

Through passengers Westbury to Dorchester / Weymouth - alternative  route available via Southampton, I presume?

Still early, but perhaps there's a Weymouth to Castle Cary shuttle?    Good to see that Frome IS being served.
