Timetables below - from Melksham Rail User Group web site - http://www.mrug.org.uk/timetable.html

Congratulations to GWR (Great Western Railway) for scheduling the Westbury to Chippenham bus service to connect properly at Chippenham into the Chippenham to Swindon buses (and vice versa).   That may sound like a small thing, but the connections on what is a through train on other dates are vital, and in the past passengers have had to wait nearly an hour at Chippenham.     Passengers can understand that a 25 minute journey takes an hour and 10 minutes this weekend - we know buses are much slower than trains.   And an hour and ten minutes is far better than 2 hours which has been taken on some previous rail replacement dates!

Weekend services showing up on MRUG» (Melksham Rail User Group - site) live trackers via http://melksh.am/trains and, yes, we track (at least in timetable terms) the buses:

I suppose I could change the word "train" to "bus" where there are no trains left ... but how far does one go?

Probably worth noting here, as a reminder, buses will also replace trains through Melksham on the weekends of the 3/4th, 10/11th and 17/18th October too.

However a bonus on the weekend of 26/27th September - through trains to Portsmouth Harbour (for connections to the Isle of Wight!).
