Six cars used to be platformed at Morton A through the buffet

But according to the TM(resolve) this morning, a passenger complained that it was "dangerous and risky" getting off at the door that was just on the ramp (note the drop to the ramp is still less than, say, the drop to platform 2 at shrub hill).

So now they are only allowed to platform 5 carriages since its the front buffet door that was on the ramp.

FFS (for goodness' sake (a more polite definition)) if you dont like the drop, move to the next door

Wonder how they would have got on in the war. 12-14 coach trains, slam doors and a blackout.

Are you sure this is Moreton-in-Marsh? It has always been five HST (High Speed Train) coaches here, on either platform, as that's all they can fit on. And the 'doors' near the buffet counters which are next to the ramps have been sealed up for years.

Kingham perhaps? Oxford-bound is about five-a-half, Worcester-bound side takes six comfortably, although most TMs(resolve) announce five here, I've never fathomed out why.

Ok, cant be 100% certain as I sleep most of the way down but have trained myself to hear unusual announcements (just in case one is "please evacuate the train immediately  Shocked")

I'm 95% sure it was Moreton as I opened my eyes and noticed the foot bridge.  There was a detailed explanation of why the numbers were changing and it was due to there being no panel at the back end of the buffet.

Some of it may be garbled but I did hear that as I recognised the voice of the TM -he's a well known rgular on the morning trains on that line
