Thinking of doing a day trip tomorrow.

Saturdays three years ago, Trowbridge to Waterloo.

Direct train at 09:27, 13:37 and 16:30
Arriving Waterloo at 11:49, 15:49 and 18:49

I have looked at Trowbridge to Waterloo for tomorrow 23.10.2021 ("not via Paddington")

Don't think I'll bother ...

Buses between Salisbury and Andover.

Between Andover and Basingstoke, I think?

I looked this last weekend, when it WAS between Andover and Salisbury. A train arrived in Andover, 10 minute connection to a bus to Salisbury, where there was 10 minutes before the Bristol train left.   No longer journey time; the 59 minutes at Salisbury was reduced to an acceptable 10 minutes ...
